This week I had a lot of fun visualizing the words frequently mentioned in the book Info We Trust. The original visualization, shown below, is very colorful and beautiful. I really like that it is visually beautiful, also the most frequent words pop out and are very noticeable.
As I was thinking about how to visualize the words, I thought it would be interesting to highlight the top words and focus on the frequency throughout the book. The visualization I created focuses on the top words and their distribution. I also really liked the original visualization because it easily shows what other words appear throughout the book. The other thing that I added to this word cloud was information on the word count and its distribution. View the interactive dashboard here.
